I thought that it was so heart felt before you revised it but now it is so specific and memorable. I could feel the love that you have for your boyfriend. The images that you use bring me to the moments of first love and lasting love. You tap into almost every sense to experience the wonderful and difficult sides of love. I feel that this poem did not have to be about interracial dating, but dating in general. I think that everyone has issues with dating and what people think especilaly parents.
